Team Vox posted recently about the Vox Windows XP Uploader.

some people commented about being unable to get it to work under Windows Vista.

after some googling, i found a fix.

installation:

1. open the .reg file in your favorite text editor.
2. in the key name, change "\Explorer\PublishingWizard\PublishingWizard\Providers\" to "\Explorer\PublishingWizard\InternetPhotoPrinting\Providers\".
3. save.
4. run the .reg file.
5. confirm that you do want to merge this  file with your registry.

1. run Windows Photo Gallery.
2. select the photos and/or videos that you want to upload.  Windows Photo Gallery does not support audio files at this time.
3. under the "Print..." menu, you'll find the "Order prints..." option.  select that.
4. "Vox" should appear in the list.  it'll be near the bottom since it's in alphabetical order.  select it.
5. click "Send Pictures".  if you get a dialogue box that asks if you want to "send pictures to the print company", click the "Send" button.
6. the program will then connect you to the Vox Windows XP Uploader webpage.
7. it will prompt you for your Vox username and password.
8. follow the on-screen instructions.
   

my friend list neighbors have been quiet as of late.

we still don't have documentation about how to use clients to post to vox.  thought we were getting that in a new release.  anil seemed to think so.

i like how each time they upgrade vox, it resets all of the rss feeds so LJ re-fetches the ENTIRE DOCUMENT.

(and these automatic titles are still silly...)

so.  you can backdate and date up to the present date, but you can't future date.

and this RTE still annoys me since there's still no source view.

i should be able to easily copy/paste tags from an existing entry or from the library where these items exist so that i can tag my post accordingly.

there should be a list of already-defined tags so that i can add them from the update form.
